This is a free extra and the code is publicly available for you to change. The extra is being actively maintained and you're free to put in pull requests which match our roadmap. Please create an issue if the pull request differs from the roadmap so we can make sure we're on the same page.
Functionalities.
SEO Tab was introduced to add a SEO optimisation layer to your MODX install. SEO Tab keeps your URL structure safe with (automatic) 301 redircts and makes sure Search Engines will index your web pages in the fastest possible way.
SEO Tab 2.0.0 introduces a central module to manage your 301 redirects. So, besides your regular SEO "tab" inside your resources, you are now able to manage them centrally as well.
Upgrading from 1.* can be done by using the automatically triggered migration script. It is highly recommended to backup your data prior to upgrading, because we're migrating important data here. Read all the documentation on Github.
